On July 7, CSSC Marine Power and Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group signed a contract for the construction of 2+8 WinGD9X92DF main engines.
The series of main engines signed this time will be used for the 14000TEU dual-fuel powered container ship built by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding for Greathorse International Ship Management.
The series will be designed by WinGD, a subsidiary of CSSC Marine Power, and built by CSSC-MES Diesel.
The WinGD X92DF main engine, currently the world's largest marine dual-fuel low speed engine, integrates super power, intelligent control and environmental protection into one.
It leads the world in engine products of the same type with excellent performance and emission indicators. It was officially released to the world on May 26, 2020.
