New Times Shipbuilding has secured a new order for four 158,000 dwt suezmax tankers from two European shipowners.
Allied Shipbroking and VesselsValue both confirmed that two of the four vessels were ordered by Viken Shipping, the Norwegian owner, and the other two were ordered by Pantheon, the Greek owner.
A single new ship costs $52 million, and all new ships are scheduled for delivery in 2022.
Currently, Viken Shipping operates a total of 19 tankers, while Pantheon owns 30.
