World's largest dual-fuel low-speed engine launched

On May 26, WinGD X92DF, the world's largest marine dual-fuel low-speed engine, was officially launched, independently developed by WinGD, built by Shanghai CSSC Mitsui Shipbuilding Diesel Engine, and guaranteed by CSSC Marine Power Technology Service.

The launch ceremony was held via video in the form of "cloud" in Beijing, Shanghai, Paris, Marseille, France, and Winterthur, Switzerland. WinGD X92DF was approved by the classification society of BV.

WinGD X92DF main engine released to the world this time marks a new step in the development, manufacturing and service capabilities of China Ship Power.

As the world's largest marine dual-fuel low-speed engine, WinGD X92DF combines super power, intelligent control and environmental protection, leading the world's engines of the same type with excellent performance and emission targets.
This type of low-speed engine uses Alto cycle principle and low-pressure gas inlet technology in gas mode to meet IMO Tier III emission standards.

The successful development of this type of engine is a major breakthrough, indicating that China's high-end ship equipment technology level and market competitiveness are constantly increasing.
