Waigaoqiao named another 180000DWT bulker

On May 25, 180,000 DWT capesize bulk carrier "SHANDONG DE XIANG", built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding and financed by Bank of Communications Financial Leasing, was named in Shanghai.
 
This is the first ship of 10 180,000 DWT series bulk carriers signed by Waigaoqiao and Shandong Shipping. It is also another successful practice of Waigaoqiao's innovative cooperation mode of ship financing lease.
 
The cooperation between Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, Shandong Shipping and Bocomm Leasing has opened a new model of win-win development for China's shipbuilding industry and financial industry.
 
Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding will always adhere to the vision of building a world-class shipbuilding enterprise and building world-class ship products, fully implement the follow-up projects, and add luster to the development of the national marine economy.
 
"SHANDONG DE XIANG" is a new green environmental protection product developed to meet the needs of partners. It can fully adapt to the current shipping market demand, and its performance has reached the world's leading level.
 
So far, Waigaoqiao has delivered a total of 12 vessels in the year, which has reached 1.8226 DWT, adding confidence and strength to the overall achievement of the annual production and operation target.
