The Schulte Group, one of the largest ship owners and managers, has announced that ithas signed an intended agreement with the Shanghai Pudong New Area Municipal Government to transformits existing China presence in Shanghai to a headquarter status.The agreement was signedon 29 April 2020 in the presence of a delegation from the leaders of Pudong New Area, including Mr. WenZhuliang(Member of CPC Shanghai Standing Committee, Party Secretary of Pudong New Area) and Alvin Wang, Managing Director, Schulte Group China.
Alvin Wang, Managing Director of Schulte Group China, who is responsible for all Schulte Group new business activities in China, said:
“We are grateful that the Shanghai Municipal and Pudong New Area Governmentstrongly supports multi-national companies like Schulte Group in further expanding their China presence and investmentsthrough their progressive pro-business policies. We have open our China business in Pudong New Area since 1990’s, which is right after Pudong reforming and opening. At present, Schulte group already have four entities based at Pudong.”
