On April 20, the ship "SEACOR ANDES", a platform supply vessel (PSV) project built by COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Zhoushan) for SEACOR, an operator of offshore ships, was successfully delivered.
Ching Kok Yen Andy, representative of the shipowner company, and Zhou Jianhua, general manager of COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Zhoushan), signed the delivery documents on behalf of the two sides. Executive vice general manager Huang Xu, deputy general manager Ao Wuping and project team members attended the signing ceremony.
The ship adopts Rolls-Royce UT771 design, with a total length of 83.75 meters, a width of 18 meters, and a maximum draft of 5.8 meters. It is equipped with 2 full-turn electric propulsors, 1 lifting thrust and 1 pipeline side thrust, DP2 dynamic positioning system, and a design speed of 14.5 knots.
COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Zhoushan) has done a good job in epidemic prevention and control of the project and resumption of production, ensuring that the project is delivered to the shipowner on time and smoothly.
