As of April 15th, 3,500 crew members have shifted and boarded ships at the relevant ports in the sea. It is expected that by the end of May, there will be about 10,000 crew members who need to be shifted and disembarked the ship.
Ministry of Transport issued a notice on April 1 to further strengthen the management of shifts of port crews in international shipping vessels, clarifying the main responsibilities of shipping companies and management agencies, standardize the operation process of crew shifts in domestic ports. After the notice was issued, various localities also issued relevant regulations to strengthen organizational management and implementation.
As of April 15th, 3,500 crew members had implemented shifts and disembarkation at the relevant ports in the sea. According to statistics, there will be about 10,000 crew members by the end of May, some of which have expired contracts, and some have expired on board, and need to be shifted and disembarked. According to the current progress, it takes about 40 days to complete the entire shift change.
