China's Commerce Ministry says the nation's imports and exports improved in March, without elaborating.
However, some foreign trade companies, especially textiles firms, have had existing orders delayed or cancelled and are having difficulties in receiving new orders, said Ministry spokesman Gao Feng, reported Reuters.
China's exports dropped 17.2 per cent in January-February from the same period a year earlier, customs data showed, marking the sharpest decline since February 2019. Imports decreased by four per cent year on year.
