Hong Kong's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), now a Cosco unit, has updated its list of cancelled round-trip sailings on its Asia-Europe trade published on December 20.
The shipping line had earlier said that the cancellations were made "in response to the expected low demand in the market".
The upadated cancelled sailings are as follows:
On the Asia-North Europe service, Loop 6, westbound: ETA Kaohsiung on February 2 in Week 5 and eastbound: ETA Felixstowe on March 14 in Week 11.
Loop 7, westbound: ETA Ningbo on February 2 in Week 5 and eastbound: ETA Antwerp on March 6 in Week 10: westbound: ETA Ningbo on February 9 in Week 6 and eastbound: ETA Antwerp on March 13 in Week 11; and westbound: ETA Ningbo on February 23 in Week 8 and eastbound: ETA Antwerp on March 27 in Week 13.
On the Asia-East Mediterranean and Black Sea Service (EMI), the westbound: ETA Pusan on February 23 in Week 8 and eastbound: ETA Istanbul on March 27 in Week 13.
Meanwhile, OOCL also announced that the Norfolk port call on our Atlantic East Coast Express 1 (ATE1) service will begin calling Virginia International Gateway instead of Norfolk International Terminal, with the arrival of the OOCL Asia, voyage 147 E, ETA Norfolk on February 05, 2020 in week 6.
