The much-awaited maritime industry event, ShipTek 2019 returned to the Global Maritime Capital, Singapore, on 29th August 2019 at Marina Sands Bay.With strongbusiness, cultural and linguistic connections, Singapore unanimously became the preferred choice for ShipTek to return in the year 2019.
Organized by Biz Events Management, ShipTek 2019 – An International Conference on Marine, Offshore and Oil & Gas Industry and International Maritime Awards, saw maritime industry leaders indulge in insightful discussions to build the foundations for longer term business growth.Besides the much-appreciated conference, the event also witnessed a dazzling award ceremony where industry veterans who have been instrumental in proposing creative solutions were honored for their accomplishments.

Ltd.; Best CSR Initiative of the year was presented to Thome Group; SeaTec was presented with Best Service Provider- Marine award; Rising Star - Organization award was provided to Feen Marine; Ship Operator of the Year award was presented to Eastern Pacific Ship Management; Gulf Agency Company Pte.was presented with Best Shipping Agency of the Year Award, Classification Society of the Year was presented to Bureau Veritas; Maritime Port Authoritywas declared Port Authority of the Year; Singapore Shipping Associationwas presented with Best Maritime Organisation award; Pacific Green Marine Technologieswas bestowed with Best OEM of the Yearaward; and Asia Shipping Media Pte (ASM)was bestowed with Best Maritime Media Award.
Two other special awards were also presented during the ShipTek International Awards 2019 – Singapore. While, Capt. Rajesh Unni, CEO, Synergy Maritime was bestowed upon with the CEO of the Year award for his strong leadership qualities which has hurled the company’s growth and development strategies; Mr. B.S. Teeka, Managing Director Executive Ship Management was presented with Lifetime Achievement Award – Entrepreneurship for his significant contributions to the vitality and strength of the maritime industry, by combining innovative business
achievement with service.
