China Shipping bulletins on August 14,2019


1.On August 12, a thematic educational acitivity on “Remain True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind” and a symposium on cooperation between centrally-adminsitered state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and local departments and enterprises took place at the Xiamen International Conference Center. The acitivity was co-hosted by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) and the Xiamen Municipal Party Committee and Government.
 
2.Chinese port machinery manufacturer Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co (ZPMC) has come under the radar of China’s environmental protection supervision group over its role in environmental pollution.

5.China's iron ore futures finished higher on Tuesday.The most active contract for January 2020 delivery finished the day session up 0.40 percent to 627.5 yuan per ton.
