1.Singapore’s China Navigation has announced that New Zealand-based subsidiary Pacifica Shipping has acquired a 1,700 teu ship for deployment on its coastal shipping service in New Zealand.
 
2.Cosco Shipping Financial Holdings, a unit of China Cosco Shipping Group, has completed the takeover of four container manufacturing subsidiaries of SS Teo’s Singamas Container Holdings.
 
3.China's crude oil futures settled higher on Monday.The most active contract for September 2019 delivery increased 0.35 percent to 433.0 yuan per barrel, data from the Shanghai International Energy Exchange showed. 
 
4.Starting from 1st August and until 30 November 2019, the Panama Canal will implement?speed limits aimed at protecting cetaceans, including whales, dolphins and other large aquatic mammals, during their nearby seasonal migration.As such,ships should proceed at a speed of not more than 10 knots in specified areas.

7.Xiamen Maritime Court has sold the 2011-built 32,900 dwt handymax bulker Sheng An Da 69 in an online auction.The vessel was owned by Guangxi-based Guiqin Shipping, and the auction was requested by the company’s creditor PLA 4807 Shipyard, a Chinese army-owned naval yard in Fujian.
