1.With an annual throughput of over 1 billion tons, Ningbo-Zhoushan Port is the world’s largest port in terms of cargo throughput. At present, 12 licensed players are supplying marine fuel oil for vessels on international voyages with a fleet of 50 bunker barges.And Zhoushan commits to build bunker supply center for Northeast Asia.
 
2.Cosco, the world’s largest shipowner, is recruiting experienced Communist Party members and military veterans to strengthen political work on its vessels.
 
3.India, the world’s biggest nation for vessel demolition, is heading towards joining the Hong Kong Convention for the Safe and Environmentally Sound Recycling of Ships, the country’s ambassadress to Greece said in a conference today.
 
4.The port in Taicang, a county-level city of Suzhou, Jiangsu province, launched a new route to Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu, on June 27, local media reported.
 
5.The Shanghai Development and Reform Commission is planning to issue a tender for developing 200MW of capacity at the Fengxian offshore wind farm by the end of 2019. The wind farm will be located in the north side of Hangzhou Bay.
 
6.China's iron ore futures finished higher on Wednesday.The most active contract for September 2019 delivery finished the day session up 2.48 percent to 908.5 yuan per ton. 
 
7.As per information from Yantai MSA, foreign vessels often wrongfully pass through the navigation-restricted areas around Miaodao Archipelago nowadays. As advised, around ten cases happened annually in the recent three years. 
 
8.Chinese steel futures fell on Wednesday as production restrictions have been eased in some steelmaking hubs, raising concerns that overall output will remain brisk and providing extra support to record-high iron ore prices.
