1.Zhejiang Shipping Exchange has sold the 2011-built AHTS Feng He 8006 through its online auction platform for a price of RMB20.7m ($3.08m).
 
2.Taiwan’s most active ship seller, Formosa Plastics, will continue to make headlines in the upcoming months, sources tell Splash.Formosa Plastics, whose fleet today numbers 55 vessels, has sold 13 ships in the last year.
 
3.Navig8 Chemical Tankers has entered into sale and leaseback agreements with China’s ICBC Financial Leasing for four of the company’s 37,000 dwt product tankers.
 
4.Chinese research vessel "Kexue(science)" was open to the public for the first time on Friday in Qingdao City, eastern China's Shandong Province,which just concluded a 74-day-long scientific exploration in the Western Pacific Ocean.

6.Taiwanese shipping company Wan Hai Lines announced the enhancement of its Japan service coverage.With effect from early April 2019, the company shall upgrade its existing New Super 1 service and also extend one of its existing Japan Kanto service to cover Malaysia, the provider of full-containerized shipping service said in a press note.
 
7.Singapore-based vessel owner and operator Berge Bulk has received the 300,000 DWT bulk carrier Berge Logan, which was built at China’s Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI).
 
8.Taicang CIMC Reefer Logisticts Equipment Co, a subsidiary of China International Marine Containers (Group) Co, took up 31 percent of the global market in 2018 with total sales revenue of 1.8 billion yuan ($269 million), local media reported.
