1.Ghana has selected two Chinese companies to build the African country’s first liquefied natural gas (LNG) import facility in Tema.
2.Chinese coal imports were up sharply so far this year but domestic coal production dwindled.During the first eight months,imports including lignite were up by 14.2% or about 25 million tonnes whereas raw coal production was down by 2.3% or about 35 million tonnes.

7.CNOOC's offshore engineering vessel Hai Yang Shi You 202 was blown away from the anchorage area and ran aground near Hainan when Typhoon Mangkhut hit the Southeast coast of China yesterday.Beihai Port has suspended all sailings in and out of the port and have sent instructions for nearby vessels to go to safe anchorage area.
