China's 1st ice-class cargo ship reaches S Korean Busan


The first ice-class cargo ship, Tian En, refueled in Busan, a port city in South Korea, on Monday. 
 
Tian En, carrying wind power equipment, set sail from east China's Lianyungang City in Jiangsu Province to a European port on Saturday. At 10:00 on Monday local time, Tian En arrived at Busan, the last Asian port Tian En planned to anchor, after sailing for 68 hours. 
 
After refueling, Tian En will leave Busan and sail into the Sea of Japan. And the ship will sail through West Pacific, across the Bering Strait, and the Arctic Ocean before finally arriving in the designated European ports. 
 
Tian En is the first ice-class cargo ship developed by China COSCO Shipping Corporation Limited. The voyage of Tian En will cover 18,520 kilometers and last more than 30 days, and it is expected to dock at a European port by early September.
