A total of 15 steel makers, mainly in eastern and northern China, lifted steel products prices on June 7, spurred by bullish outlook in a rising market.
Shandong Laigang Yongfeng Iron and Steel Co., Ltd in eastern China adjusted up rebar price by 20 yuan/t on the day.
Magang (Group) Holding Co., Ltd based in eastern China's Anhui province made a price hike of 30 yuan/t for rebar, high wire and coiled steel.
Shanxi Meijin Energy Group in northern China made the same price lift as Magang.
The remaining 12 steel makers also hiked prices of main steel products by 10-80 yuan/t on the same day.
