OOCL cancels A-E sailings after mainland's May Day holiday



HONG KONG's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) is cancelling a number of Asia-Europe sailings after "Golden Week" mainland holiday from May 1.
 
Cancelled on the Asia-West Mediterranean Service will be WM1, Xin Beijing (XBJ) 104W/104E, westbound with an ETA Qingdao on May 7 in Week 19 and eastbound with an ETA La Spezia on June 8 in Week 23.
 
Cancelled on the AAS, Cosco Hong Kong (CHK) 133W/133E will be westbound with an ETA Shanghai on April 25 in Week 17 and eastbound with an ETA Trieste on May 28 in Week 22.
 
For service recovery arrangements from the AAS blank sailing, the CMA CGM Volga (VLG) 317W/318E in the EM1 service will add calls to Koper and Trieste by adjusting its own port rotation as follows: Shanghai, Busan, Ningbo, Shenzhen-Shekou, Singapore, Koper, Trieste, Istanbul (Evyap/Izmit), Istanbul (Ambarli/Avcilar), Constanza, Odessa, Istanbul (Ambarli/Avcilar), Port Said West, Jeddah, Port Kelang and back to Busan.
 
Cancelled on the Asia-East Mediterranean and Black Sea Service will be EM2, Ever Strong (RON) 077W/077E westbound with an ETA Qingdao on May 3 in Week 18 and eastbound with an ETA Ashdod on May 29 in Week 22.
