Following the signing of orders for 14 sets of fuel tanks with customers such as Hoglund in Norway, Mitsubishi Shipbuilding in Japan, Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea in August, Watts Energy continues to focus on the marine LNG fuel tank market and continue to make efforts.
This month, Watts Energy signed an order with domestic customers for 4 sets of 119,900DWT crudel/product carrier 2*1,750m3 LNG fuel tank. The company also signed a contract with Mitsubishi Shipbuilding for 4 sets of 2*1,750m3 LNG fuel tanks, which will be delivered in succession from the middle of next year.
Prior to this, Mitsubishi Shipbuilding has placed an order for 2 sets of LNG fuel tanks with Watts Energy. This additional order of 4 sets is a high recognition of engineering strength and production capacity of Watts Energy by Mitsubishi Shipbuilding.
In the current increasingly stringent emission regulations, LNG-powered ships have broad market prospects. As an active participant in the new energy oil and gas storage and operation industry, Watts Energy contributes to advancing the development of the LNG industry chain and promoting global carbon reduction.
