CIMC Enric delivered the first 7,500m3 LNG carrying and bunkering ship


On October 8, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering, a subsidiary of CIMC Enric, delivered the first 7,500m3 LNG carrying and bunkering ship to Avenir in Zhoushan, Zhejiang province.
 
The vessel has a total length of 115.8 meters, a width of 19 meters and a depth of 11.80 meters. It is equipped with two Type-C LNG cargo tanks.
 
The ship uses LNG BOG as fuel and adopts a safe and maintenance-free independent C-tank. The ship adopts electric propulsion, is equipped with dual-fuel generator sets and efficient azimuth thrusters, and meets requirements of ice class 1B ice area, and have a complete LNG bunkering function.

This ship is the first LNG bunkering ship designed and built by CIMC SOE, and the construction of several subsequent LNG bunkering ships is also in progress as planned.

Avenir LNG Limited is a joint venture between Stolt-Nielsen, Hoegh LNG and Golar LNG. Avenir LNG Limited focuses on small-scale LNG transport and LNG bunkering.
