Dr. Xue Maogen joined top leadership of LR

Lloyd's Register of Shipping announced that Dr. Xue Maogen, President of Lloyd's Register of Shipping in Greater China, has officially joined the top leadership team of Lloyd's global shipping and marine industry.
 
This is the first time that Chinese people have appeared in the top decision-making level of ship business in 260 years since Lloyd's Register was founded in 1760.
 
At the same time, Lloyd's Register Greater China has officially become one of the seven regions of Lloyd's Register, which is directly responsible to the headquarters.

The announcement not only proves Lloyd's Register's confidence in the development of China's shipbuilding industry, but also reflects Lloyd's Register's determination to provide support and assistance to China's shipbuilding industry.
 
The update of the organizational structure will better support the construction of Lloyd's localization and help Lloyd's to understand and respond to the needs of customers in Greater China more quickly.
