Mr Xie Chunlin awarded ＂Most Influential Person in the China Shipping Industry＂ 2019

On 11 December, the “2019 China Shipping Gazette Celebrity 100” was announced at the 2nd Greater Bay Area Shipping Logistics Development Forum and the 6th China Shipping Industry Innovation Conference. The Chairman of CMES, Mr Xie Chunlin was awarded the "Most Influential Person in the China Shipping Industry" for his outstanding contribution to the shipping industry.

 

At the forum, Mr Xie delivered a speech entitled "Advantageous Superposition and Integrated Development to Build a World-class Shipping Center", introducing the shipping development history of China Merchants Group. He mentioned how China Merchants’ root in Hong Kong and connection with the Mainland has promoted the allocation of the crucial shipping elements in the Greater Bay Area. The initiative of “Utilizing Regional Advantages and Promoting Integrated Development; Focusing on both the Aggregation of the Traditional Characteristics as well as the Scientific and Technological Innovation; Take Advantage of the Unique Features of the Bay Area with Caution" was also put forward by Mr Xie.

 

The "Most Influential Person in the China Shipping Industry" is a grand prize in the “2019 China Shipping Gazette Celebrity 100”. The purpose of the China Shipping Gazette Celebrity 100 is to highlight the phenomenal quality of industry leaders and to promote the development of China's shipping industry.
