Two Ships Collide in China Pearl River with 12 Crews Missing
 
Two ships (Jin Ze Lun and Shun Jin Long) collided in south waters of Guangzhou Port 49 on 0330 November 27, 2017. According to an informed source, Jin Ze Lun sank in the waterway. At present, 14 crews fell overboard and two were rescued. The other 12 people were still missing. While Shun Jin Long made the beach landing on the west waterway.


 
At 0420, Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration initiated the second-level response to water emergencies and the relevant personnel arrived for emergency response.

Data show the two ships are all domestic trade ships and have similar length and width.



 
According to the news from the office of Maritime Search and Rescue Center of Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration, a total of 15 various ships and boats and a search and rescue helicopter were dispatched for search and rescue after the incident. In addition, various places such as Shenzhen, Dongguan and Zhuhai were coordinated to search and rescue.

 
At 1340 the same day, 12 of the 14 crews who fell into the water were still on searching.
