Yangzijiang delivers the first 1,800TEU container ship to Greek shipowner MINERVA

On October 16, the first 1800 TEU container ship "LITTLE EMMA" built by Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding for Greek shipowner MINERVA was successfully signed and delivered.


"LITTLE EMMA" has a length of 171.9 meters, a width of 28.4 meters, a molded depth of 14.5 meters, and a design draft of 8.5 meters. It is classified into ABS.


The shipowner Martinos is the largest shipowner family in Greece. The ship types owned by Minerva Marine include VLCC, Suzemaxes, Aframaxes, Capes, kmaxes and LNG. This project is the first time that the shipowner has placed an order to build a new ship at a Chinese shipyard.
