China Shipping bulletins on November 13,2019


1.Dalian Area of China (Liaoning) Pilot Free Zone held a press conference on 12 November, announcing the launch of two new modes of bonded ship oil supply supervision.

2.The fourth phase of Nansha Port will accelerate the development of Guangzhou and make Guangdong's provincial capital a major global shipping center, industry insiders said.

3.China, the UK, and Germany will lead the way in offshore installations during 2019-2030. The concerted research and development efforts of various bodies globally are expected to drive down the cost of installing offshore wind farms.

4.Chinese transportation service provider Longzhou Group announced that subsidiary Anhui Zhongzhuang Logistics is to invest RMB110.76m for the construction of a logistics park facility and two bulk cargo berths.

5.Thai-listed Regional Container Lines (RCL) has added a direct call between Guangdong, South China and Cambodia.

6.As China's cruise economy enters a high-quality development era, the potential of China's tourism service trade will be further released, benefiting even more companies at home and abroad.
 
7.Taiwan's Evergreen Marine Corp Ltd has posted third-quarter profit from continuing operations of TWD87.4 million (US$2.65 million), an 89 per cent from the TWD771.2 million profit recorded in the same period last year.

8.On the afternoon of November 12, 2019, a delegation led by Mr. Aboubaker Omar Hadi, Chairman of Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority visited COSCO SHIPPING headquarters in Shanghai.
