China Shipping bulletins on September 30,2019


1.Sinopec Corp expects to start operations at the marine fuel oil blending facilities at its Qilu refinery in eastern China’s Shandong province by the end of October, the company said on Thursday.

2.Astro Ocean has officially christened its first cruise ship following a stunning ceremony on Sept. 26 in Xiamen, China, as the Piano Land was named by Director of the Xiamen Municipal Committee and the Director of the Free Trade Commission Ni Chao.

3.China’s coal imports have grown strongly so far this year, but this may be about to change, assuming Beijing takes steps to ensure that growth for the whole of 2019 is more or less zero.

4.Caofeidian district in the northern city of Tangshan will make full use of its recently inaugurated free-trade zone (FTZ) and build itself into a world-class integrated trade port, a senior official said Friday.

5.The 14th China Cruise Shipping Conference & International Cruise Expo(CCS14) will be held in Guangzhou from November 15th to 17th with Nansha’s international cruise port set to open on the last day of the event (Nov. 17).
 
6.Hainan has made solid progress in deepening reform and opening-up since the central government decided in April 2018 to turn the entire Hainan Island into the country's largest free trade zone, according to local authorities.

7.China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), the country's largest oil and gas producer and supplier, has explored new petroleum and gas reserves, the company said on September 30. 

8.Ningbo Containerized Freight Index (NCFI) issued by Ningbo Shipping Exchange (NBSE) quotes 566.5 points.
