China Shipping bulletins on August 16,2019


1.China’s Jinjiang Shipping has launched a container shipping service for Taicang Port-Southeast Asia. 
 
2.Cosco, the operator of Piraeus port, plans to build a $400m fourth terminal at Greece’s leading port.
 
3.A new freight train service has been launched  linking Jinan, capital of east China's Shandong Province, and Budapest, capital of Hungary, making it the newest China-Europe freight train route.
 
4.China's crude oil output gained 2.5 percent year-on-year in July, data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed Wednesday.
 
5.China plans to build an efficient and environmentally friendly freight system in its western region by 2025 through expanding railway networks and sea ports, according to the latest plan by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
 
6.Guangxi province in southwestern China ramped up coal shipments via railway to Hengzhou power plant, one major coal-fired utility in the province, to meet surging power demand amid scorching weather.
