China Shipping bulletins on August 15,2019


1.China has decided to adjust the security level of Chinese ships sailing and intending to sail to the Straits of Malacca to level 1 from 22:00 on August 12, 2019.
 
2.Cosco Shipping International (Singapore) Co is expanding in Malaysia with a planned creation of a consolidated logistics platform to provide a one-stop integrated service. 
 
3.Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation (Yang Ming) held its 338th Board Meeting on August 13th, 2019 to approve its half year financial report for 2019.
 
4.On July 27th, Ren Yuanlin, Chairman of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. was awarded the title of "The Most Respected Su Merchants in the 70 Years of the Founding of the People's Republic of China".
 
5.China’s logistics service provider Antong Holding has announced that its two founders and controlling shareholders are facing serious financial issues with debts of RMB8bn ($1.2bn). 
 
6.China's index of export container transport edged down last week, according to the Shanghai Shipping Exchange, reports Xinhua.
