1.China State Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (CSSC) officially announced on July 1st, 2019 that it is planning a strategic restructuring with China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation Co., Ltd.(CSIC) and the relevant plans still need to be approved by authorities.
2.Valmet announced that it will supply scrubbers for ten container ships of COSCO SHIPPING Lines Co., Ltd. The scrubber systems will be installed in existing ships in China in 2019. The project is being performed in co-operation with Health Lead Development Ltd.
3.RINA and China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) have signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement for some of the activities related to passenger ships building. RINA will provide technical advice to CSSC in accordance with RINA’s experience and expertise.
4.China’s container transport for export purposes kept flat for the week ending Friday, according to the Shanghai Shipping Exchange.The average China Containerized Freight Index (CCFI) stood at 818.97, flat with a week earlier, the exchange said.
5.Haizhuang Wind Power (HZ Wind) under China Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd announced that the construction of its first-ever self-made 300 MW offshore wind power project has commenced in Dalian sea area, the company said on June 26.
