1.Rudong liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal, the first terminal in eastern China's Jiangsu province, received a total 6.5 million tonnes of LNG from domestic and overseas sources as of December 30 noon in 2018, ranking the first among all the 21 operating LNG receiving terminals in China, local media reported.
 
2.The Zhoushan Port in Ningbo City of east China's Zhejiang province has held the largest annual cargo capacity in the world for 10 consecutive years.The port is also the only one in the world where more than one billion tons of freight was handled in 2018. 
 
3.Norway’s TTS Group has been awarded a NOK 102 million (USD11.7 million) contract with Cosco (Dalian) Shipyard Company in China for five sets of cargo cranes and hatch covers.
 
4.Three ports in eastern China's Shandong province – Qingdao, Yantai and Rizhao – announced to ban coal trucking effectivefrom Jan 1.
 
5.China's iron ore futures closed higher on Thursday.The most active contract for May 2019 delivery finished the day session up 1.12 percent to 497 yuan per ton.
