China Shipping bulletins on December 6,2018


1.On Dec 6th 2018, China Merchants Energy Shipping Company Ltd(CMES) issued important personnel appointments. Due to work changes, Mr. Su Xingang applied to resign as chairman of the company, and Capt Xie Chunlin was elected as Chairman of CMES.
 
2.China's liquefied natural gas (LNG) price inched up 0.1% to 4,486.8 yuan/t ($655.9/t) averagely over November 21-30 compared with mid-November, showed data from National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on December 4.
 
3.Maersk sets net Zero CO2 emission target by 2050.A.P. Moller -Maersk aims at having carbon neutral vessels commercially viable by 2030 and calls for strong industry involvement.

6.ICE February Brent settled 52 cents lower at $61.56/b and NYMEX January WTI was down 36 cents at $52.89/b at market close Wednesday.
 
7.The world's first Arctic condensate tanker was named and delivered in Guangzhou City of south China's Guangdong Province on Tuesday. 
 
8.Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI) has won a tender to build two 49,700-dwt product tankers for Nanjing Tanker, part of China Merchants Group.
